Clint took the key that Faith had handed him and unlocked the door. The first thing he did was sweep the entire aprtment. He DID believe in the monster in the closet, and the one under the bed. He had fought them both. Once he was satisfied the room was clear he set up a couple of motion detectors. These would alert him remotely if anyone broke into his apartment.

Only once his security perimeter was set did he grab a couple of hours sleep. He knew tomorrow would be a long day.
